Imagine Nation needs you! Hastings half marathon, 24th March 2019
We are looking for runners of all ages to run the Hastings Half Marathon or mini run for us. The money raised will fund more books for Hastings children.
If you run the half marathon for us and raise over £160 we will pay your registration fee and you will fund 80 books posted to local children. If you run in the mini run and raise £60, we will give you a £10 book token and the money you raise will fund 30 books.
So why not get fit and support a local cause? Run for Imagine Nation on 24th March 2019.
What to do if you have signed up to run for us…
Firstly, thank you! We really appreciate your support.
Here are four quick steps you need to take to ensure you’re registered for the Hastings half marathon and have a BT My-donate account set up to raise money for Imagine Nation, as well as telling you how to notify us once you’ve raised your money. We are using BT My-donate as it offers you an easy way of publicizing your run and gaining sponsors, and allows funds to be transferred to Imagine Nation efficiently and without deductions. But if you would rather just do it the paper and pen way, then that’s fine too – please just let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can send you a paper form.
Step 1: Sign up for the Hastings Half Marathon here.
Step 2: Create your own personal fundraising page through BT My-donate:
- If you don’t already have an account you will have to create an account here.
- Then search for ‘Imagine Nation/Hastings Half Marathon’ and set up your own fundraising page.
- Get lots of people to sponsor you.
Step 3: Once you have received the £160/£60, email us your bank details and confirm how much you paid for your registration fee. Once Imagine Nation has received your sponsorship money your registration fee will be reimbursed.
Step 4: Continue with your training and continue to raise money for Imagine Nation! You may want to post info about your endeavours and link up with us via Facebook (Imagine Nation East Sussex) and Twitter (@ImagineHastings).
